Sparrow is a family of small passeridae birds. They are also known as real sparrows, or old world sparrows, also known as passers. They are different from the American sparrow (the family of Emberizidae) and other birds that share their names, such as the Java sparrow of estrildidae. Many species nest in buildings, and houses and Eurasian tree sparrows especially live in cities, so sparrow is one of the most familiar species among all wild birds. They are mainly seed eaters, although they also consume small insects. Some species forage near the city, such as seagulls or rock pigeons, and almost happily eat a small amount of food.
