Monkey

Monkeys are non anthropoid apes, usually with tails, made up of about 260 known organisms. Although some monkeys live mainly on the ground, such as baboons, they are arboreal animals. Most species are also active during the day. Monkeys are usually considered smart, especially in the old world.

There are two main types of monkeys: New World monkeys from South and Central America (pullorum) and Old World monkeys from Africa and Asia (catalyzing disease of the superfamily cercopitycoidea). Apes (anthropoids) - made up of gibbons, orangutans, gorillas, chimpanzees and humans - are also long haired monkeys, but they are traditionally different from monkeys. (according to modern usage, macaques without tail may be called "apes"; therefore, macaques without tail Barbary are sometimes called "Babas".) Apes and marmosets appeared in hookworm disease about 60 million years ago. About 35 million years ago, New World monkeys and catarrhal monkeys appeared in the apes. About 25 million years ago, monkeys of the old world and animals of the ho family appeared in catarrhal monkeys. Extinct basic apes, such as egyphus or paraapes [35-32 million years ago], are also considered monkeys by primatologists.

Lemurs, slouches and galagos are not monkeys. Instead, they are primates. Like monkeys, they are primates of primates. But they are not monkeys either.

Apes and Old World monkeys appear as sisters in the catarrh, so they are also monkeys in evolutionary terms. However, apes are not traditionally regarded as monkeys, making them a group of animals. Ape is the smallest branch of evolution among all monkeys, so the branches of ape are very rich.
