Crocs, Inc. is an American company headquartered in Niwot, Colorado, responsible for distributing and manufacturing foam wood sole shoes.

Crocs is co founded by Lyndon "Duke" Hanson and small George Boedecker, Jr., to produce and distribute foam wood log design [4] obtained from a company called Foam Creations. The shoes were originally developed as rowing shoes. The first model Crocs produced was the beach, which made its debut at the Fort Lauderdale yacht show in Florida in 2002 and sold out 200 pairs produced at that time. [5] Since then, it has sold 300 million pairs of shoes.

Crocodiles come in many styles. They are produced at Crocs plants in Italy and Mexico, both of which are scheduled to close by the end of 2018, when Crocs manufacturing will be fully outsourced.

Depending on the model, shoes can be made in many colors. There are more than 20 colors for the classic style. Most other styles are made of four to six colors or a combination of two. There are different styles of crocodiles, so you can wear them in any season.

Crocs also sells other fashion accessories. Jibbitz is an ornament that can be clipped into the vent of a shoe. These designs include mainly for children, with Disney characters. The company has also released a range of wallets in various colors.

The "fuzzy collection" with detachable wool lining extends its range to winter wear.

In 2008, the company entered the golf shoe market and acquired the golf shoe manufacturer bite footwear. An alligator style golf shoe ace was introduced.
