Schnitzel

A fried pork chop is a kind of meat that is usually thinned by mashing it with a tenderizer and then fried with some oil or fat. The term is most commonly used for meat coated with flour, beaten eggs and crumbs and then fried, but some variants (such as walliser schnitzel) do not have crumbs. Breadcrumbs originated in Austria and are popular in many countries. They are made of veal, lamb, chicken, beef, Turkey, reindeer or pork. It's very similar to French escalop, Uruguay and Argentina's milanesa.
