Osbeck is a small evergreen tree of Rutaceae family, which is native to Asia.

The tree's oval yellow fruit is used worldwide for cooking and non cooking purposes, mainly for its juice, and for cooking and cleaning purposes. Pulp and peel are also used for cooking and baking. Lemon juice is about 5% to 6% citric acid, with a sour taste. The unique acidity of lemon juice makes it a key ingredient in beverages and foods such as lemonade and lemon pie.
