Assassin's creed is a franchise centered on the action adventure video game series developed by Ubisoft. It depicts a struggle with a history of hundreds of years, in which assassins and the Templars fight for peace and free will. The Templars believe that peace is achieved by controlling human beings. The feature of this series is that historical novels are mixed with historical events and characters in the real world. The inspiration of the series comes from the novel Alamut by the Slovenian writer Vladimir bartol, and draws on the concept of Persian Prince series.

Franchising began in 2007 with the release of Assassin's Creed. The main video game series includes ten items, which are developed by Ubisoft Montreal (single player game) and Ubisoft Annecy (multiplayer game), and distributed on Playstation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox one, Wii u, Microsoft Windows and OS X platforms.
