Tupac Amaru Shakur is also known for his stage names 2pac, Makaveli and PAC. He is an American rapper and actor. Shakur has sold more than 75 million records worldwide, making him one of the best-selling music artists of all time. [3] His double albums all eyez on me (1996) and greatest hits (1998) are among the best-selling albums in the United States. Shakur has always been regarded as one of the greatest and most influential rappers of all time, [5] and he is listed as one of the greatest artists of all genres by many publications (including rolling stone), ranking 86th in the list of the greatest 100 artists of all time. On April 7, 2017, Shakur was inducted into the Rock Hall of fame.
Shakur's career began in Louis, MC of backup dancers and alternative hip-hop band digital underground, and eventually broke away from the ranks of individual singers. Most of the themes in Shakur's songs revolve around violence and dilemmas in inner cities, racism and other social issues. His parents and several other members of his family are members of the Panther Party, whose ideals are embodied in his songs. In addition to his musical career, Shakur was an actor who starred in six films and one TV show in the 1990s, including poetic justice (1993), friends (1997) and Glock (1997).
On September 7, 1996, at the intersection of flamingo road and coval Lane in Las Vegas, Nevada, sakur was shot four times in a driving shot. He was taken to the University Medical Center in Southern Nevada, where he died of injuries six days later.
