Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams are made up of six players separated by a net. Each team tries to score by hitting the ball on the other team's court according to the organized rules. Since 1964, it has been part of the official plan for the Summer Olympics.

The complete rules are extensive. But in short, the process of the game is as follows: one of the players in one team starts the "rally" by serving (throwing or releasing and hitting with hands or arms) behind the back line of the court, and enters the court of the receiving team through the network. Accept that teams are not allowed to play on their own courts. Teams can touch the ball up to three times, but a single player may not touch the ball twice in a row. Usually, the first two contacts are used for attack, which is a way of trying to guide the ball back to the net. The serving team cannot prevent it from landing on the court.

The rally continues, with each team allowed a maximum of three consecutive contacts until (1) either team kills the other, parks the ball on the opponent's court and wins the rally, or (2) a team makes a mistake and loses the game. The team that wins the rally will get a point and serve to start the next rally.
