Donald Duck is a cartoon character created in 1934 at Walt Disney Productions. Donald is a kind of anthropomorphic white duck with orange money, legs and feet. He usually wears a sailor's shirt and a bow tie hat. Donald's most famous words are half sober speech, mischievous and temperamental character. Along with his friend Mickey Mouse, Donald is one of Disney's most popular characters and was chosen by the TV guide as one of the 50 Greatest cartoon characters of all time since 2002. The world's most frequently published comic book characters outside the superhero category.

Donald Duck is known as DIC for his comic role in animated cartoon. Donald's first appearance was in the wise little hen in 1934, but it was his second in orphan's benefit, making him Mickey Mouse's comic character. Over the next two decades, Donald starred in more than 150 drama films, several of which were nominated for the Academy Awards. In the 1930s, he usually appeared in the comic trio with Mickey and goofy, and in 1937, he began to get his own film series from Don Donald. The films introduce Donald's beloved Daisy Duck, usually including his three nephews Huey, Dewey and Louis. Since the 1956 film "chips ahoy", Donald has mainly appeared in educational films, and finally returned to dramatic animation in Mickey's "Christmas Carol" (1983). His latest performance in dramatic films was Fantasia 2000 in 1999. Donald also appeared in direct video films, such as Mickey, Donald, goofy: Three Musketeers (2004), TV series like Mickey Mouse Club (2006-2016) and video games, such as quarkshot (1991).

In addition to animation, Donald is mainly famous for his cartoons. Donald is the most famous person of Al Taliaferro, Carl Barks and don Rosa. In particular, Bacchus has created many new characters, such as Donald's uncle, Scrooge McDuck, because he has greatly expanded Donald's "Donald Duck universe" in the world he lives in. In Europe, Donald is a very popular figure, especially in the Nordic countries. His weekly Donald Duck & Co is the most popular comic book publication from 1950s to 2009.
