Robocop is a 1987 American online punk action movie directed by Paul Verhoeven and written by Edward Neumeier and Michael miner. The film is starred by Peter weller, Nancy Allen, Dan O'Herlihy, kurtwood Smith, Miguel Ferrer and Ronny Cox. Robocop is located in Detroit, Michigan, a city full of crime. It is centered on police Alex Murphy (Weller), who was murdered by a group of criminals and then resurrected by Omni Omni products (OCP), a super large company. Robocop is the robot law enforcer who became Superman.

Topics that form the basis of Robocop include media influence, middle class, corruption, authoritarianism, greed, privatization, capitalism, identity, anti Utopia and human nature. It was acclaimed and voted one of the best films of 1987, resulting in a series of concessions, including merchandise, two sequels, TV series, remakes, two animated TV series, a TV Mini Series, video games and some comic adaptation / crossover. The cost of making the film is relatively low, at just $13 million. The film's Honors include five Saturn awards, two BAFTA nominations and an Oscar for best sound editing, as well as best film editing and best mixing.

Robocop was written by Edward Neumeier and Michael miner. Neumeier said that when he walked through the poster of blade runner with his friends, he first had the idea of Robocop. He asked his friend what the movie was about, and his friend replied, "it's about a police hunting robot." For him, it inspired the idea of robot police. Allegedly, when they tried to introduce the script to Hollywood executives, they were accidentally trapped in the terminal of the plane and spent several hours with a senior film executive. Here, they were able to talk to him about the project, which led to a series of activities that eventually led to Robocop.

In 1981, Neumeier wrote an article about the robot police officer for the first time. He is not a robot, but with the development of the story, his computer thinking becomes more similar to human. The plot takes place in a rather distant future, where the world is dominated by companies, and it is assumed that the world will be visually similar to the world shown in blade runner. Many studios have rejected this approach due to incomplete storylines and scenes. In 1984, Neumeier met music video director Michael miner, who worked on similar ideas. His draft script is called "Supercop," a story about a police officer who was seriously injured and became a donor to the experiment to create a cybernetic police officer. They think they can successfully combine their ideas.
