Rose is a perennial flowering plant of Rosa in Rosaceae. There are more than one hundred, thousands of varieties. They form a group of plants, which can be erect shrubs, climbing or trailing stems, usually with sharp spines. Flowers vary in size and shape, usually large and showy, with colors ranging from white to yellow and red. Most species are native to Asia, while a few are native to Europe, North America and northwest Africa. Species, cultivars and hybrids are widely cultivated for their beauty and are often fragrant. Rose has cultural significance in many societies. Rose plants vary in size from compact miniature roses to climbers up to seven meters tall. Different kinds of plants are easy to cross, which has been used to develop various garden roses.
