Khabib abdulmanapovich nurmagomedov (Russian: ХабибАббалманапоВичНурманомедов; born on September 20, 1988) is a professional mixed martial artist of the Russian awas. Nurmagomedov is the world champion of three treasures twice and the undisputed lightweight champion of UFC. He currently has the longest unbeaten record in the MMA field, winning 27 games, and keeping unbeaten in the professional MMA field. He is from Dagestan, Russia. He is the first Russian and the first Muslim to win the UFC championship. His lead round with Conor McGregor on UFC 229 attracted 2.4 million pay per view purchases, the most in the MMA competition. As of January 2, 2019, he ranked third in the UFC's official pound rankings.

Khabib nurmagomedov was born on September 20, 1988 in sildi village, tsumadinsky District, ASSR, Dagestan. The village is an autonomous republic of Russia's SFSR Soviet Union and moved to Makhachkala, the capital of Dagestan as a child. Then, as a young man, he moved briefly to Kiev, Ukraine, where he received training in combro Dobro. He is the second of three children, including his brother magomed and sister Amina. His father's family has moved from sildi in tsumadinsky district to kirovaul, where his father converted the ground floor of the two-story building into a gymnasium. Nurmagomedov grew up at home with his brothers, sisters and cousins. As he watched the students train in the gym, his interest in martial arts began.

Like many of Dagestan's children, he began wrestling when he was very young: at the age of eight, he began fighting under the supervision of his father, abdulmanap nurmagmedov. His father was a well decorated athlete and a veteran of the army. He wrestled since he was a child, and then received judo and Sambo training. Habib's childhood training included wrestling a bear when he was nine in 1997.

In 2001, his family moved to machachkala, where he trained in wrestling at the age of 12 and competed in judo from the age of 15. Under the age of 17, he began the training of three treasures again. According to nurmagmedov, the transition from wrestling to judo was difficult, but his father wanted him to get used to wearing an American soldier jacket. Sambo and wrestling in Makhachkala, Russia. Nurmagomedov married in June 2013. He has a daughter born on June 1, 2015 and a son born on December 30, 2017. He is a devout Sunni Muslim. He speaks many languages, including arval, Russian, English, Turkish and Arabic. He often wears straw hats during fights and promotions as part of his Dagestani Avar culture.

He was in SC bazarganova (2012), k-dojo in kizilyurt, Dagestan, AMA fight club in Fairfield, New Jersey (2012), fight team in madishev (2012), fight spirit team in kolpino (2013) and khk MMA team in Bahrain (2015). In 2016, he co founded his own team "Eagles MMA team" with ziyavudin magomedov. He is a fan of Anzhi Makhachkala and Real Madrid football club as well as the Russian national football team.
